Denver, Colorado

Denver is the biggest, most populated and the capital city of the state of Colorado. Founded in 1858, the city takes its name after James W. Denver who was the governor in Kansas territory. Denver offers its visitors a full urban experience. But it is not the only thing that the city offers. You can find many outdoor activities that you would enjoy, such as skiing and climbing etc. On the other hand, the city has a lot of museums such as Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum and green areas such as Mount Evans. Last but not the least, it was also an inspiration for many Beat Generation writers.
