Ohrid takes its name from the Ohrid Lake, which can be enjoyed in summer times. It is also in the World Heritage list. Even though it is an underpopulated city with 50,000 people, many visitors around the world increase the population in summer. It is quite a cosmopolite city with Macedonian, Albanian and Turkish ethnicities. Its history, architecture and nature are well-preserved, and the city can be discovered on foot in just a few days. To see the city in its full form, we suggest you climb to the hills and that way, you can also visit the Amphitheatre.
