Trondheim, Norway

Trondheim is one of the oldest and the most central cities in Norway. It was founded as a commerce center by the Vikings in 997. It has a population of 184.000 people and can be seen as a student city because 25.000 of the main population consists of the students. As a consequence, its economy is mainly based on science and technology. In addition to this, Trondheim has a very rich cultural heritage. It is one of the most exciting cities in Northern Europe with its art, culture, music, night life and amazing nature. The city will not disappoint you in any sense, that’s for sure!
