Burj Al Arab Hotel- Dubai, The U.A.E

The Burj Al Arab Hotel, which actually means the Tower of the Arabs, is a luxurious hotel in Dubai. Being one of the tallest hotels in the world, it stands on an artificial island, which is connected to the mainland with a private bridge. The hotel was opened to public in 1999 and is managed by Jumeirah hotel group. The shape of the hotel resembles a sailing ship, therefore, 39% of total height of the building is non-occupiable. However, it does not prevent the Burj Al Arab Hotel from being one of the most luxurious and popular hotels in the world.
