Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci is the biggest science museum in Italy. As you can understand from its name, it is dedicated to famous Leonardo da Vinci, who was both a painter and scientist. Opened in 1953, the museum is divided into seven sections; materials, transport, energy, communication, Leonardo da Vinci, art & science, new frontiers and science for young people. The museum also provides a wide range of books and journals on science and technology history, objects, interactive and multimedia exhibits.
